AllSpeak AI Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and AllSpeak AI, New York, USA ("we", "us"). By installing or using AllSpeak AI you accept them. If you don't accept them, don't use the app.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders on our website and handles questions about those payments and refunds. Purchases made in Steam are sold by Valve under Steam's terms.

1. Who can use AllSpeak AI

  • You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher.
  • You may not use AllSpeak AI if US sanctions or export laws bar you, or from a country or region where AllSpeak AI or its AI providers aren't offered.
  • Don't use a VPN or other tricks to get around regional limits or the provider chosen for your region.

2. What AllSpeak AI does

  • AllSpeak AI reads the chat in your game window and translates it with AI. It also translates what you type into the other players' language and can put it into the game chat for you.
  • AllSpeak AI isn't affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Valve, Riot Games or any other game publisher. Game names belong to their owners.
  • Each game has its own rules. Some may restrict third-party tools or punish what players say in chat. AllSpeak AI doesn't inject code into games or read their memory, but we can't promise that a game won't restrict, mute or ban you. You decide whether to use AllSpeak AI in each game and accept that risk.
  • We may change, add or remove features. We'll tell you in advance about changes that materially reduce what a paid plan includes.

3. Accounts

  • You can sign in with email, Google, Discord or Steam. Keep access to your account secure; you're responsible for what happens under it.
  • One person per account. Don't create several accounts to get more free quota, and don't share, sell or transfer accounts.

4. Free plan, paid plans and fair use

  • The free plan includes a daily number of translations, shown in the app. We may change it.
  • Paid plans give you more translations for a fee, up to a fair-use limit shown in the app that normal play doesn't reach. We may slow down or pause use that looks automated or abusive.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period, at the price shown when you bought it, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in the app's account page or through Paddle (or Steam, for purchases made there). You keep the paid plan until the end of the period you paid for.
  • One-time passes (for example a 30-day pass) don't renew.
  • Price changes: we'll tell you at least 14 days, and no more than 30 days, before a new price applies to your renewal, and you can cancel before it does. Where the law requires your agreement to a higher price, we'll ask for it.
  • Prices are shown at checkout with any taxes that apply.

5. Refunds

Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms limits the refund or withdrawal rights you have under the law where you live.

6. Your messages and other players' chat

  • You keep the rights to what you type. You allow us and our AI providers to process it, and the chat lines the app reads, only to provide AllSpeak AI to you.
  • You're responsible for the messages you send in games, including translations you choose to send. Check the preview before you send.
  • The chat on your screen includes other players' names and messages. Use AllSpeak AI only to understand your games and take part in them. If you stream or record the overlay, you make that information public, and you're responsible for doing so lawfully and within the platform's rules.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use AllSpeak AI to:

  • attack people for their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or another protected characteristic, or to send slurs;
  • threaten, harass, stalk or intimidate anyone, or reveal other people's personal information;
  • break the law, or break a game's rules in ways that harm other players (for example cheating or spam);
  • get around quotas, regional limits or security measures, or access our service by any means other than the app;
  • copy, resell or reverse engineer AllSpeak AI (except where the law allows it), or use it to build a competing AI model.

Trash talk and swearing are part of gaming, and AllSpeak AI translates them with the same tone. It won't write slurs, threats or other people's personal information for you, and it may refuse or soften a message. Our AI providers' usage policies also apply.

8. AI translations can be wrong

Translations are made by AI. They can be inaccurate, miss slang or context, or sound different from what you meant. Don't rely on them for decisions about health, safety, money or the law.

9. Other companies' services

AllSpeak AI works with games, Steam, sign-in services, AI providers, Paddle and hosting companies. Their terms apply to your use of their services, and we aren't responsible for them.

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle data. You can delete your account at any time.

11. Our rights in AllSpeak AI

AllSpeak AI is licensed to you, not sold. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app under these terms, and we keep all other rights. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.

12. Suspension and termination

  • You can stop using AllSpeak AI and delete your account at any time.
  • We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, the law or an AI provider's usage policy, that is used by a minor, or whose payment is charged back. Where we reasonably can, we'll warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
  • If we close your account when you haven't broken these terms, or if we stop offering AllSpeak AI, we'll refund the unused part of any period you paid for in advance. We'll give at least 30 days' notice before we stop offering AllSpeak AI.

13. Disclaimers

To the extent the law allows, AllSpeak AI is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will work with every game or game update. If you're a consumer in the EU or the UK, you keep your legal rights when digital content or a digital service doesn't conform to the contract.

14. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, game accounts or in-game items. Our total liability for all claims about AllSpeak AI is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$50. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, for gross negligence or willful misconduct, or any other liability the law doesn't allow us to limit.

15. Indemnity

If you use AllSpeak AI for business purposes, or where the law otherwise allows it, you'll compensate us for third-party claims that arise from your breach of these terms or from messages you send.

16. Governing law and disputes

  • These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. The state and federal courts in New York County, New York, decide disputes, and either of us may use a small-claims court where eligible.
  • If you're a consumer in the EU, the UK or another country whose laws give you rights that can't be waived by contract, you keep those rights and may bring claims in the courts where you live.
  • Please contact us first. Most problems can be solved by email.

17. Changes to these terms

We'll tell you in the app at least 14 days, and no more than 30 days, before material changes take effect. If you don't agree, you can stop using AllSpeak AI and cancel your subscription before then.

18. General

  • These terms, the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about AllSpeak AI.
  • If a part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
  • We may transfer these terms to a company we form or to whoever takes over AllSpeak AI, and we'll tell you. You may not transfer them without our consent.
  • If we don't enforce a right, we haven't given it up.
  • Where the law allows, the English version controls if a translation differs.
